My favorite thing to do is riding dirt bikes. I have been riding since I was one year old. I had training wheels at that time. The training wheels were taken off when I was three. I raced my first race on a PW 50 when I was 3 years old.  My next bike was a KTM, which broke a lot. Then I got a KX65 and raced it. I now ride a RM 85, and I’m pretty fast.  We have a track at our house and we go to other dirt bike tracks. These pictures were taken at 2 different tracks.
Other things I enjoy doing include playing football, basketball, and baseball. Also I enjoy doing karate, hunting, and fishing (which I usually catch them most fish). I am very good at boxing and enjoy kicking my brother's butt.  By Jeremy

Free Scholastic Books!!!

I happened to notice something interesting on my cereal box yesterday morning...

Scholastic has teamed up wi
th Kellogg's to "Open a World of Reading."

With the purchase of two participating Kellogg's products (not just cereal), you will receive a code for a $5 book coupon! The coupon can then be redeemed through th
e classroom teacher from the Scholastic Book Orders. What a great way to add books to your child's library!

More information can be found at www.scholastic.com/kellogg. There you will find a list of participating products sold at Walmart. I have checked a few places and it looks like Walmart is the only store carrying the specially marked packages.

Every time I place a Scholastic Book Order our class earns rewards. With the bonus points and coupons from last months order, I was able to order several new books for our classroom library! I was also able to order new book boxes for each student for Daily 5 time! Thank you for your orders!

Hello, my name is George. I want to show you my Whip Tide. I got it in Florida. It is not a Ripstick because on my Whip Tide it has two wheels on each side. Another thing that is different is the body, my Whip Tide is more rounded than a Ripstick. My favorite thing to do with it is riding it in my dad's shop. The cool part about it is that in the middle there is a spring instead of a solid bar. This allows me to do really cool tricks.

I hope you enjoy my video.

Hi my name is Ben. Some of the things I like doing are riding my mini bike, playing baseball and playing my drums. Playing drums is my most favorite and someday I would like to make a living of it. I got my first drum set and started playing when I was two years old. Some of my favorite bands are Rush, VanHalen, Iron Maiden, and Journey. I taught myself by listening to music on my stereo and play along with it. It has been a lot of fun being a drummer.

Hello my name is Grace. My video is a chicken in an egg box. If you watched the video you will hear her making noises. She makes that noise because she’s telling you to stay away from her eggs. Sometimes they will even peck at you. Did you know that some chickens will stay in the egg box for over a month and sometimes longer? They think they are going to hatch chicks. It’s called being broody.
